FIG...."Food Is Good"!!

FIG...My favorite restaurant in ALL of Charleston is growing!  Today they announced they are expanding to a new location, new concept, and new idea.

"From Bank to Oyster Bar", Mike Lata and Adam Nemirow are opening on Upper King Street with plans to renovate the old Bank of America building and transform it into a new, hip spot to grab a drink, oyster shot, or a bit to eat!  Opening date is proposed for September 1, 2012. :)

Check out the picture below....It looks like they are building a new hotel, shops, and residences that will help feed their need for visitors.  Looks fancy for a currently scary part of town.  Hopefully these new businesses will bring a new vibe to that part of town.

Their current restaurant FIG.....is utterly AMAZING!  The concept of Farm to Table is something they don't play around with.  Their menu changes daily and you can only get the best local fresh ingredients.  Their motto is: "We have a passion for pure flavor, quality ingredients, and for creating an atmosphere that is convivialapproachable, and a haven for people who simply love food."  ENOUGH SAID!
